Useful links

Our Useful links page is a collection of many useful resources. There is a lot of help out there; however, during distress you may not have the energy to search through useless junk to find the right information for you or your loved ones. We have listed descriptions along with the links to information we trust in the hope that you can find the information that you need.

Self help Groups

Being informed and educated on a chronic illness like addictions is crucial for the individual and their loved ones to be able to understand how this disease affects them and everyone around them. In this area we are sharing links to Self Help groups for the individual and their family members. How to navigate the process of pre-recovery and recovery along with built-in support systems in the community is an important factor. Finding the right self-help group is as important as finding the right clinical help. Addiction effects our sense of belonging, finding the right support system is important.

Collaboration with other entities is crucial when the dire need arises. Collaboration enables well rounded, sustainable recovery. We want to build the bridges for everyone’s benefit. Change is chaotic, frightening, our old habits and comfort zones are safer in our minds than the “new”. We don’t have coping skills built for the “new” and that is the biggest obstacle in our way. We are hoping to inspire you to see there are ways to cope and live differently.
At Myrina, we’re not going to ask for any kind of payment from the people who get therapy from our clinicians. Every dollar donated will be allocated towards operations.
