A Message From Our
Board President

Here at MYRINA, we believe in the importance of long-term counseling towards growth and change. Our non-profit organization aims to reduce the financial burden and limitations of insurance capabilities for those seeking addiction counseling and life skills services. Addiction is a chronic Disease that has many aspects such as biological, emotional, genetics, social, and criminal, along with family traumas and upbringing. To tackle all these areas, the process needs to be precise, and tailor made. Planning and executing is essential.  A person does not become an addict in need of recovery over overnight. The expectation of achieving long term recovery is not going to be possible in a short period of time. Instead of trying to treat the masses and failing with most, we believe by tailoring treatment duration to individual needs, we can help them make positive and lasting changes in their lives. We understand the need for a sense of belonging within the disease of Addiction and seek to empower individuals and their families in their communities towards a sustainable, long-term recovery.
